A short bio...

I was born in 1981 and raised in a small town on the outskirts of the city Kolding in the Southern part of Denmark. My Father is Danish and my Mother is Sri Lankan and because of yearly travels to Sri Lanka to visit family and friends I have been partial to Asia which later also had a great say in my choosing of studies...

After finishing secondary school I chose to pursuit a carreer in music. I studied music for 3 years at various private music schools in Denmark. I even had ambitions of attending the Musical Conservatory, but despite of my great love and passion for music - which will always stay with me, I decided to go back to school and pursue my true interests International Relations. Somewhere along the way, I found out that I had interest in things outside the music world and that I actually could do something with that.

I went back and finished college and because of my interest in India I took a BA in South Asian Studies with a supplementary course in European Studies. I am currently on the Masters programme at International Studies at Aarhus University. More about my education and work experience in the links below and in the 'Work' section...

During my studies and between educations I have had the pleasure of travelling around the world. Asia has been my primary target and so far I have visited such places as: India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Malaysia, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, Oman and Bahrain. India has in the recent years been my main destination and in my first two visits in 2008 and 2010 I had the pleasure of staying there for approx. 6 months each time.
