As most kids I started out at an age of 14 by cleaning at a butchers shop and then progressing to other part-time jobs such as doing newspaper rounds...(!?) Between educations I had jobs at various companies such as Siegling which has since then been moved under the name of The Forbo Group.

I have also volunteered as a bartender at the internationally reknowned concert venue 'Voxhall' in Aarhus, Denmark where I later advanced to become a Bar Manager which for the last two years has been my primary study-job.

A more relevant study-job has been my work with CISCA (Contemporary India Study Centre Aarhus). At CISCA I am, besides being a student assistant at workshops and lectures, responsible for the building and maintanence of our websites(www.cisca.dk and cisca.au.dk). CISCA is a study centre that enhances the studies of contemporary India at Aarhus University and offers lectures and workshops with scholars from Denmark and abroad.

The 2 ½ years with South Asian Studies have given me knowledge about modern India; especially the language where 'Hindi' (by Gitte Grønning Munk) was our Major for the 2½ years, but besides that; historically (by Stig Toft Madsen), Anthropologically (by Jens Seeberg), politically (by Uwe Skoda), but also and perhaps most importantly the knowledge gained by all my journeys in India where my first was a part of our studies.

European Studies was a supplementary programme of 1 year where we dug into the European ideas politically and philosophically. Among subjects we had 'Modern European history' (by Christopher Kølvraa), 'The History of the Idea of Europe' (by Peter Bugge) and 'European Institutions and organisations' (by Ann-Christina Knudsen) and 'European Political topics' (by Mark Eaton).

From the summer of 2011 I have been a part of the Masters programme in International Studies at Aarhus University. The programme contains the following courses: 'International Project Management' (by Andreas Munk-Madsen), 'International Political Economy' (Jørgen Dige Pedersen), 'Global Society' (by Manuela Ciotti), 'Modern Global History' (by Hagen Schultz-Forberg), 'Global Justice' (by Sten Schaumburg-Müller), 'International Relations and Organisations' (by Knud-Erik Jørgensen).
